Hi,

I love gardening! And I love to help other people enjoy their gardens. So having a website to pass along all our gardening tips and resources just makes a lot of sense and fun too. I find great fulfillment in nurturing life in our plants so that they produce the best harvests. I also enjoy helping others get past any obstacles that are in the way of their gardening. Helping people become unstoppable gardeners.

As a physician in private practice, I enjoyed having a large space to garden-over 70 acres. I truly enjoyed being outside and growing fresh vegetables. Nothing I can remember beats picking vegetables from the ground and eating them. That fresh taste!!

As time went by, I became a medical director. I was transferred to various parts of the country from Maine to Florida and places in between. As a result I had the opportunity and challenge to garden in a variety of climates and garden sizes. I am not a "trained" gardener but a self taught one. My gardens have included both vegetables and flowers.

Now living in south Texas, I appreciate the almost year round good weather we have. As a result I find more time to be outside not only working in the garden, but eating, reading and generally spending time on the patio. Together with my wife I've enjoyed decorating our "outdoor living room." I've even discovered a new term to search for all of our decorating needs for our outdoor living room-garden decor.

I'm lucky to have met a talented gardener, Phil The Gardener. Phil The Gardener has been involved with growing for over 30 years. From his family farm in Missouri to his own landscaping business, Phil has the answers. Best of all he delivers information simply in a way people can understand.
